WHAT IS WORSHIP
Worship is a gift we give, to the One who gave us life, Come into His Presence of perfect peace, And out of our trouble and strife. Worship is the time we take, to bring ourselves apart, From a world of rushing and endless haste, And allow God to speak to our heart. Worship is an act of love, for the One who loved us so, That He gave His Son, who gave His all, So we like our Master could grow. Worship is a time of song, or prayer when all words cease, A time of being lost in You, And in Your perfect peace. Worship is the gift of grace, as we wash in Your river of love, Get lost in the knowledge of our God, And His Spirit poured out from above. Worship’s what’s required of us, from the first command set down, For to this end mankind was made, From birth till we wear our crown. And when this precious crown we wear, we’ll cast it at the feet; Of the One whom we have worshipped, The One whom we long to meet. © 30/6 – 2/7/98
