Speak Out

Why does the voice within me quake?
Instead of true confession make?
Why not speak out, and tell my woe,
And thus defeat my Father’s foe.

 

For satan would have me apart,
To pour his doubts into my heart,
he does not want that I should share,
Let fellow Christians, know my care.            1/8

He’d rather that I hide away,
And on my own, with sorrows stay,
Convinced that I am all alone,
None other has my feelings known.

 

And all the while, my flame grows dim,
As satan bids me list to him;
But then I hear my Father say,
”Be bold, be brave, speak out today.

 

For you are still a child of Mine,
I want, My Light, in your heart to shine,
So dare to speak out of your need,
And let another help you feed.

 

I bade you all to meet as one,
To fellowship, as you praise My Son,
To lift each others arms, and heart,
Till each flame burns as brightly as at the start.

 

And sometimes you will be the one,
To whom a hurting soul may come,
But  there are times when you are weak,
And someone else’s strength you seek,

 

So do not fear to speak it out,
This fear, this hurt, this time of doubt.
And thus you will defeat the foe,
In the face of love, his fears must go.

 

It’s why I bid you love each other,
As father, mother, sister, brother,
That always there is one who’s strong,
To help the weaker one along.

 

Though this will change from day to day,
You’ll help each other along the way,
The one now strong one day will be,
The one needing you, to help them see Me.

 

But if when you are feeling weak,
You dare, their help, this time to seek;
When their time of weakness does come about,

You give them the courage, to dare speak out.

 

And in My strength, you both will see,

How helping each other, leads straight to Me,
And as each other’s faith you lift high,
Your praises to My throne will fly.

 

And I will then inhabit them;
You’ll know My Presence, once again.
My love will overfill your heart,
And thus refreshed, you’ll once more start,

 

Upon the journey, I have set,
Your work on earth’s not over yet,
I’ve things o earth, I’d have you do,
But first My Kingdom, must come in you.

 

Then you must share it near and far,
Who is your God, and how things are,
How Jesus saves, and gives new life,
For all need Christ, in these times of strife.”
