THE CREATION OF I AM
I am a child of the Lord. I may not feel wonderful, But if I have within me the King of Glory, Then I am full of wonder. I am a redeemed man. Daily I make mistakes, But they are forgiven already, I have only to receive my forgiveness. I am blessed by the Lord. I walk not in the lack of circumstance, But in the knowledge of His love and grace, Blessings far richer than gold. I am loved. The world may esteem me not, But what is the opinion of dust, To the sacrifice of the Breath of Life. I am of great value. My worth lies not in the visible, But in the price by which I was bought; My Saviour, nailed to a tree. I am unique. Christ died for the whomsoever, But He died for me alone, For me, He hung on the Cross. I am made in His image. A mere reflection of the great I AM, But as His Spirit fills and floods me more, I am becoming the creation of His dreams. I am the possession of the Lord. I choose to belong to Him, For in His possessing, is liberty; Freedom from doubt, from fear, from death. I am complete, When I am in my Lord. For He chooses us to complete His plan, But we choose Him to complete our being. The Lord alone is the great I Am, But each of us is enlivened by His breath, And each breath carries the promise that we can say; "I am His." © 5/9/01
