ASSURANCE

I set you free on Calvary,

Gave you the right to come to Me,

Look in My face and boldly say;

"I love You Jesus, more each day."

I took your sins upon My back,

That I might free you from all lack;

So you could gaze upon My face

And see My mercy, love and grace.

 

I walked upon this earth as Man,

Began this life as you began.

I traced the paths that you might go,

So I would all your trials know.

 

I whisper gently in your ear,

Though satan deafens you with fear;

I tell you all that you can be,

If you will give your all to Me.

 

I will not crush you, bruise nor break,

But gently all your heartache take;

And in My healing hands remold

A vessel of the finest gold.

 

I never look for faults to find,

Although My Spirit brings to mind,

Those things which you must bring to Me,

So I can truly set you free.

 

To let My love become a part,

Of daily living. Let your heart

Reflect this love back up to Me,

And out to everyone you see.
