For Mum

This poem was written just in time for our Australian Mother's day, & is the shortest of all my poems. More like an insert for a card, as indeed it was that year, for my mum. Still I felt it was to be included in the collection, so in obedience, I have done so.

FOR MUM

You’ll always be special,

You’ll always be dear;

Whether your children,

Are far or are near.

You’ll always be loved,

For there’s always a part,

That’s kept just for Mum,

Down deep in my heart.

May God always bless you,

As I know He will;

And keep you and hold you,

And your heart with peace fill.
