Struggles

I am me :-
I get lonely,
I get scared,
I get sad :-
Do You love me?

You are God :-
You are Holy,
You are Mighty,
You are Awesome :-
Do You love me?

Your Word is full ;-
Of Your Power,
Of Your Might,
Of Your Love :-
Dare I trust it?

Who am I ? :-
I am dust,
Or a rib,
Filthy rags :-
Your creation ?

You came down, :-
To this earth,
To my world,
To my heart :-
‘Cos you love me ?

You faced death :-
On the Cross,
Filled with pain,
And alone :-
‘Cos You loved me?

How can I :-
Doubt Your Word,
Doubt Your Love,
Doubt You want me? :-
But I’m human.

Your Word says :-
You still care,
You still love,
Understand, :-
Because You made me.

It teaches me :-
You forgive,
And You guide,
Draw me back :-
Oh so gently.

I reach out :-
To Your love,
Though with fear,
Half a step :-
And You meet me.

I need to know :-
You are there,
You are light,
You are love :-
I must trust You.

I lay down :-
At Your feet,
With my fear,
With my doubt :-
Lord forgive me.

Lord, take me in :-
Draw me close,
To Your side,
To Your heart :-
Where You’re waiting.

Wash me now :-
With Your Blood,
In Your Love
For Your use :-
As you promised

My heart knows :-_
You are Lord,
Holy God,
Worthy Lamb :-
My Salvation.

My soul bows :-
To Your Power,
At Your Love
Father God :-
I will praise You.

Praise the Lord :-_
Oh my soul,
With my heart,
And my mind :-_
He is Worthy.

His Love endures :-
Strong and true,
Over all,
Evermore :-
He is Jehovah.
