Land of the barbie and ocker,

Land of the t-shirt and thong,

Land where so many are ‘knockers’;

Raise to the Lord now your song.

Sing to the Lord of His triumph,

Of your worship, your reverence, and love,

Give unto Him all the honour;

Praise ye, your Father above.

Give unto Him all dominion,

Render to Him all the power,

He must rule over our nation,

Now is His day and His hour.

Now is the time for revival,

To own Him as Master and Lord,

Time for our nation to rise up,

And honour the might of His Word.

Soon will a river be flowing,

A river of life and His Blood,

Now is the time of outpouring;

His blessings will flow like a flood.

All must be touched by this river,

Must drink of or swim in its flow,

Now is the time to proclaim Him,

Till everyone His deeds shall know.

Now is the time to declare it,

The Father’s great love and His plan,

Tell all that He gave us His Jesus,

The Way to salvation for man.

Not with the voice of condemning,

Nor with the words that put down,

Tell of His love and His caring;

Till all can reach out for their crown.

Now is the time to procure them,

Those lost in their sorrow and pain,

To bring them to drink from His river,

Restore them to His life again.

This then will become a great nation,

Greater than any we know,

And all will be stunned by its beauty;

As they look where the river doth flow.

My people must turn, says our Maker,

Must look to their God and their King,

As we pray and confess all before Him;

He will give us fresh reason to sing.

For it’s us that are holding His banner,

And the way to His river must show;

As they come and step into His waters,

It’s then that His Kingdom will grow.

So Father we give You our Nation,

Its land, and its people and wealth;

We offer these gladly before You,

But firstly, we give You, ourself.

For though You’re the God of great power,

You’re also the God of great love,

And each of us comes as a fragment,

That fits in the Father above.

We pour out our hearts in Your honour,

We place ourself into Your hand,

Declare that You only are sovereign;

And ruler, in this; Great South Land.
