Strengthen My Faith
Hold on I the midst of your suffering, Hold on to the truths that you know, When you think you can no longer hold on, Remember, I never let go ! You may think that your faith doesn’t please Me, Or that I’m not touched by your plight, But I am well pleased with My servant, I’m standing right with them to fight. Each child has the measure I give them, The moment they’re born into Me, And the faith that I’ve placed within you, Is enough that My wonders you’d see. This faith must be watered and nurtured, That’s something you know to be true, But remember, for prayers to be answered, It’s not just dependant on you. For I take the prayers that you utter, The deepest desires of your heart, And I take the faith you are holding, And use them for My work of art. I’m painting a picture that’s larger, Than anything you see right now, But when you are standing here with Me, It’s then that you’ll look and say, "Wow". Don’t despair of the faith you are holding, Don’t despise it as frail and small, When you look at its size, just remember, I’ve given this measure to all. Your faith is not weaker, My precious, Nor tainted because you have fear, Remember when Thomas was doubting, I called him, and bade him draw near. I’ll hold you and blow on the embers, That burn out the fear and the doubt, For I can take any disaster, And use it to turn lives about. Be strong in My love, My anointed, Be faithful, and loyal, and true, Remember, whatever is happening, That nothing can part Me and you. Remember I love you, more dearly, Than anything I’ve ever known, For I left My mansions in Glory, Just to claim you for My own. We’ve walked many miles now together, Faced many a battle and won, And though you are now feeling weary, The best times have only begun. I’ll strengthen your faith and your body, Uphold you with My righteous arm, Whenever the future looks scary, Remember, I keep you from harm. So trust in the God of your childhood, Relax in the Lord that you know, Don’t take all the weight on your shoulders, Let Me share it, Pass it over!, -- Let go ! © 12/2/03
