Women of God

Women of God be strong,

Be faithful, and loyal, though meek;

For though I would not have you brazen,

I never have asked you be weak.

I did not create you as servants,

The way that the world sees a slave.

A helpmate and loyal companion,

Was the woman to Adam I gave.

A woman must bow to her husband,

Must treat him as she would her Lord,

But there is no licence for cruelty,

Given to man in My word.

A husband must value his woman,

Must place her above his own life.

For just as Christ was to the churches,

Must each husband be to his wife.

Remember each woman’s My daughter,

She’s precious and loved in My sight,

And as any good earthly father,

I charge you to ‘treat My girl right’.

A woman’s a pearl on the homefront,

She can train up a child in My Way.

And if you support her, and love her,

Then that child on My pathway will stay.

My plan was that two be together,

My woman and man be as one,

For that was the way I decreed it,

Back when the world was begun.

But there is no chain that can bind you,

No bondage that I cannot break,

For you must be free in your loving,

And must love, for My own dear Son’s sake.

Woman of God, I release you,

In Me you now truly are free,

In Me you have life and potential,

So open your eyes, child, and see.

See all the freedoms I give you,

See all the love that I bear,

Blessings I shower upon you,

As your heart, you with Me fully share.

Come let us walk in the garden,

Let us talk in the cool evening air,

Remember, whenever you need Me,

Forever, I’ll always be there.

Come let Me show you true loving,

Remind you, again, how I care,

Remember when your heart was breaking,

I cried and your sorrows I’d share.

I only forever am faithful,

I died, just because I love you,

Rest in Me, and forever be certain,

That God’s love is abiding and true.

Alway were, but you just didn’t know;

With Me you can face any future,

With Me you can let your past go.

Step out in the paths, I have chosen,

Trust your heart to the plans I have made,

Look to your Lord for His guidance,

And your soul, it will not be dismayed.

You are the child of My choosing,

You are the bride of My youth,

You are the woman I rescued,

You sprang from the Word of My mouth.

I will guide you to your future,

I will walk close by your side,

I will dwell deeply within you,

And you, deep in Me, will abide.

Woman of God, are you listening,

Hearken your ear to My Word,

Guard where you place your allegiance,

For you are betrothed to the Lord.

He is your husband and master,

To Him you must keep your heart true,

And He will, like any true husband,

Pour out His blessings on you.

Settle in peace now, My daughter,

Settle this Word in your heart,

Step out now boldly, with gladness,

Your new life you’re ready to start.

Woman of God, be strong,

For I am your strength and your shield,

Remember I always am with you,

As boldly, My Word you now wield.

Lift it up bravely with honour,

Proclaim it to all who will hear,

For when I am lifted above you,

It’s then that I draw others near.

Woman of God, know I love you,

Love you, for yourself alone,

But that doesn’t stop that I charge you,

To reach out and bring others home.

Women of God, you’re an army,

I made you, and choose you to love;

To show, in your homes, and beyond them;

The love of your Father above.

Walk in the might of My power,

Reach out with the strength of My Word;

So that any will see, who observe you,

That Jesus, the Christ, is your Lord.

Loudly proclaim Him with boldness,

Softly and gently Him share,

Know that each woman I moulded,

In her special way, can Me share.

Women of God I adjure you,

Take now the stand that I give,

Let Me flow out from within you,

Flow forth, so that others, might live.

Now am I building My army,

Of women and men and of child,

There is room for the fierce and feisty,

And a need for the gentle and mild.

Women of God, let Me use you,

In whatever way I see fit,

I know where I’ve placed My candles,

I know how each fire must be lit.

All that I ask is you listen,

Take time to be with Me, and pray,

Don’t wait for Me till it’s Sunday;

But come, be with Me every day.

I will speak out to your nation,

Will reach further, than you’ll ever know;

All that your Father is asking,

Is say; "Yes, Lord, I’m here, I will go."

Women of God, you are chosen,

Chosen for this place and time,

Women of God, I have called you,

For you truly, are Women of Mine !
