Is your heart as empty as His tomb?
No space for Jesus; although there’s room?
Although it’s empty, is it full of woe?
You don’t know whether to come or go?
You race around from place to place,
Trying so hard to fill each space,
But there is a space that is meant to be,
It’s made for the Lord, Who sets you free.
He said when He rose from the grave that day,
”My Spirit will come, and with you He’ll stay,
He’ll dwell within you, He’ll live in your heart,
And if you will let Him, of your life, He’ll be part.
But you must stop striving to fill your own space,
You must invite Him to take up His place,
You must draw near, and let Him do the same,
You must invite Him, just call on My Name.
Your heart will be filled with a peace beyond measure,
A peace you’ll not get from the world and its pleasure,
For you were created to worship and love,
