Twins

Two little angels,
Sent from above,
Double the trouble,
But double the love.

Two little faces,
Smiling at you,
Two lots of loving,
To carry you through.

Two little darlings,
For you and your wife,
Double the blessings,
God pours in your life.

Four little hands,
To hold out to you,
Four feet full of toes,
You can tickle and coo.

Two little bundles,
Will bring you such joys,
That it hardley will matter,
If they’re girls or they’re boys.

Two parents to love them,
Two parents to care,
To hug them, and tell them,
They’re glad they are there.

This is your family,
About to begin,
I pray you will welcome,
The Lord to come in.

To bless you, and guide you,
To lead you aright,
To shine out His love,
And to shine in His light.

To teach and protect you,
To love and to lead,
That your lives may be fruitful,
And happy indeed. Amen
