Suffer the Little Children
"Hinder not these babies", Jesus taught His men, Surely, if we listen, We hear these words again. Teach the little children, Reach them while you may, Soon will come an ending, To the great Salvation day. Round us children stumble, Round us children fall, Surely, God is urging, "Won’t you reach them all?" Many here are hurting, Many led astray, Many who are waiting, For a guide to show the Way. Who will be a leader, Lend a helping hand? Who is there that’s willing, In the gap to stand? Does it take an army? Or maybe just a few? Could we make a difference, Folk like me and you? Though our part is meagre, Nothing much at all, Mighty oaks are grown, From an acorn seed, quite small. Don’t despise the children, Helpless though they seem, Children are our future, God’s, upcoming team. Here a fledgling prophet, A pastor or a priest, Remember God’s anointing, Makes great the one who’s least. Bring to God the children, Let them see His Light, He will build His army, And show out His might. © 25-28/1/2004 (Inspired by Sun. night message Ps. Bill Nott 25/1/04)
