THE CONCERT PARTY

Lord, bless this concert party,

And let us bless You, too;

And let us give You honour, Lord,

In everything we do.

Let us speak out Your message, Lord,

As we have done each year,

Let words of poem and of song,

Fall upon listening ear.

And may our ears be open, Lord,

To hear the words You speak;

Before we choose the things to bring,

May we Your wishes seek.

May we be ever listening, Lord,

To hear Your Spirit’s call,

And may our hearts be willing, Lord,

To give to You our all.

We give this concert party, Lord,

Into Your will to use,

Submit ourselves into Your hands,

To do the work You choose.

We thank You for this privilege,

That we are called to be,

The bringers of Your love abroad,

A little taste of Thee.

And as we meet together now,

To seek Your heart and will,

We pray, dear Lord; Your Spirit,

Each waiting heart will fill.

So fill us Lord, and use us,

However You see fit;

And may we be Your shining lights,

Your candles, ever lit.
