".AND WITH YOUR MOUTH CONFESS"

"….AND WITH YOUR MOUTH CONFESS"

 

Age to age this longing,

Needs to be fulfilled,

Father God is asking,

"Will you be My child?"

"I’ll send you a brother,

Who will show the Way;

Your’s the choice to follow,

But you have to say."

Hearts reach out to Jesus,

Longing to say yes,

Mouths must take the action,

Openly confess.

Claim Him as our Saviour,

Acknowledge Him as Lord,

He has paid the charges,

We could not afford.

He gave up His riches,

‘Cos He loves us so,

Came to earth from Heaven,

The Way, to us, to show.

Took our sins upon Him,

Bore them to the Cross,

Freely gave His life away,

And did not count it loss.

He has done the paying,

For the sins we do,

There is very little,

He asks of me and you.

We must take what’s offered,

Claim it as our own,

That He is our Saviour,

By the world be known.

Lives must now be changing,

Ways to His conform,

We are all new creatures,

Since we’ve been reborn.

With His Spirit in us,

We can do all things,

Join with His creation,

As His praise it sings.

We must share with others,

The joy this can afford,

Tell the world around us,

Jesus Christ is Lord.

There are many hurting,

Many need to know,

That there is a Saviour,

And He loves them so.

He gave His commission,

Bade His love declared,

In this world we live in,

His gospel must be shared.

There are none outside this,

None we cannot tell,

If you would deny Him,

Then a soul you’d sell.

Though your voice may waver,

You may not be sure,

Of your power to do this,

In Him you’re secure.

Jesus now is speaking,

Bidding us depart,

Asking us to listen,

To His Father’s heart.

"Someone still is waiting,

Someone needs to know,

That I am their Saviour,

And I love them so."
