WELCOME
Little possum peeping, from your hollow tree, Don’t you know the world, is bigger than you see? Child of God so wary, fearful to step out, There is love abounding; for love’s what God’s about. Though we fear and falter, though we’re not too sure, Trusting One who made us, is the only cure. Though some seem so steady, sure in all they do, They have had their times of doubt, seeker, just like you. God’s love is so gentle, never He’ll despair, Where you’ve been, or where you are, He’ll just meet you there. Father love is waiting, arms are open wide, Waiting to encompass, His little child inside. Loving, tender, patient, He will call to you, Reaching out to touch you, in everything you do. When you least expect it, you will find Him there, Showing you especially, just how much He cares. Let His love enfold you, sink into your soul, Cleansing wounds and healing, make your spirit whole. He just longs to give you, more and more His love, Come in sweet surrender, to your Lord above. As you come, He’ll meet you, give to you His love, Fill you with His Spirit, a fiery, holy dove. He will teach and guide you, comfort all your fears, And in times of trouble, wipe away your tears. Though you still may stumble, though you still may fall, Jesus will uphold you; -- He’s still Lord of all. As you walk beside Him, you will daily learn; This love is more precious, than aught that we could earn. Come now little possum, creep into the light, Revel in the sunshine, not in endless night. Open up your eyes, and open up your heart, Given just the smallest chance, God will do His part. Take a step to trust Him, though it may be small, He will not forsake you; -- for you He gave His all. He has always loved you, and He loves you still; He asks, "Open up your heart", -- won’t you say, "I will."? © 9/9/98
