Men of Honour

This house is filled with Godly men,

Who stand and speak Your truth,

They’re hampered not by worldly ways,

Nor age, ill health, or youth.

They open hungry hearts to You,

Their ears receive Your Word.

Their mouths speak out loud praises,

In honour of their Lord.

They’re not afraid to show a strength

As gentle as it’s bold,

They walk uprightly in Your path,

And to Your ways, they hold.

Your Word is daily on their lips,

Your love is in their heart,

Wherever You have work to do,

You know they’ll play their part.

You’ve called them to be faithful,

You’ve called them to be true,

And You would have them loyal,

With all their trust in You.

And they will teach their families,

Your truth, Your love, Your way,

Their children follow in their steps,

And on Your pathway stay.

For You will build Your house with them,

A temple firm and strong,

Where families can know Your truth,

And lift up prayer and song.

So Men of Honour take your stand,

Begin to build the wall,

And you will see His people freed,

As scales begin to fall.

The blind will see, the lame will walk,

Mute speak and deaf shall hear,

And satan will be forced to flee,

God’s love drives out all fear.
