I love You, Lord, and what joy it brings, To know that Your love is sure, I love You Lord, and my spirit sings, To know that You love me more. I praise You, Lord, and my love just grows, When to You my eyes, I raise, I praise You, Lord, for the Bible shows, You inhabit your peoples praise. I worship You, my Lord and King, For all You do and are, I worship You, may my praises ring, To our brightest Morning Star. 8/9 I need You, Lord, more and more each day, As I try to act like You, I need you, Lord, that in every way, I might do what you would do. I want you, Lord, and my hunger grows, As I delve into Your word, I want you, Lord, and my spirit knows, Faith comes when Your Word is heard. I thank You, Lord, for the gift You gave, Of Your life upon the Cross, I know You died, my soul to save, And did not count it loss. I surrender, Lord, all I have and are, All I am and want to be, I surrender, Lord, it’s outweighed by far, By the gift You gave to me. I accept you, Lord, as God’s own Son, Who can show to me the Way, I accept you, Lord, as the only One, Who can help me on Judgement Day. You chose me, Lord, to be Your own, Forgiven and set free, You chose me, Lord, to come to Your throne, And climb upon Your knee. You gave your life, that every soul, Might know Your saving grace, You gave Your life, to make us whole, To gaze upon Your face. We worship You, for it is right, That every knee should bow, We worship You, and of Your might, Our tongues confess it now. © 14-15/9/97
