> PETER'S WORD They pray for man or woman, But what they do not see; Is all they really need to do; Is simply pray for Me. The rock that I called Peter, Was by himself a stone; But I could build My church on him, For he dared not stand alone. He knew from where his strength came, And who alone was Lord; To serve Me as My servant, He counted great reward. The humble shall I lift up, To where they stand for Me, And those who feed My little ones, Are also feeding Me. A shepherd's crook I hand you, A humble piece of wood; A shadow of your Master's sign, Which on Calvary - once stood. And as you open up your heart, To draw the hurt within, Your love will call My blessings forth, And healing will begin. Hold tight on to the promise, I gave you once before; It is and always has been, For certain and for sure. Copyright 7/12/99 |
