Prayer for my Grandson

Lord, protect this little one,
Please keep him in Your care,
Until he learns to know You more,
Be with him everywhere.

And as he grows, please let him know,
That he belongs to You,
And You are there to guide him,
In everything he’ll do.

Help me to show You to him,
In everything I do,
Let me become Your witness,
To show him You are true.

For he is still so tiny,
So innocent and free,
But one day he will need to choose,
Between the world and Thee.

So I will pledge him to You,
As only grandma can,
And pray Your hand upon him,
As baby, child, and man. Amen
